Red Campion is a superb wildflower addition to the cut flower garden. Delicate, pink flowers on long straight stems, I love it tumbled in a vase with other wildflowers such as Wild Carrot.

Easy to grow and (as long as you keep deadheading) it will flower on and off for months. Nectar-rich flowers will bring the bees and butterflies into the garden looking for food. Sow in spring or autumn.

Seed Quantity: 200 Seeds

Type: Short-lived Perennial/Annual/Biennial

Genus: Silene dioica

Sow Seeds: Sow spring (April) or autumn (September) either direct into the soil or in seed trays to prick out and pot on as the plant grows.  If sown undercover, acclimatise before planting out in spring.  Likes dappled shade.

Plant Out:  Acclimatise before planting out in spring.  Deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers.

Flowers: June-October

Height & Spread: 50-80cm high x 30cm spread
