About this scent
Close your eyes and it could almost be a terrace somewhere warmer. This one is built around a cocktail rather than just the fruit: juicy watermelon, a squeeze of lime and a splash of rum, drifting into a fresh fruit-cocktail heart and settling on a bright orange liqueur base.
A real pick-me-up of a scent. Bring it out on the first warm evening of the year and let it do the rest.
These are botanical melts, hand-poured in our Norfolk studio and finished with a scattering of dried botanicals that float in the wax pool as it melts. It is the difference between a burner that works and a burner worth looking at.
One cube in the burner and let the tealight do the rest. Each melt gives hours of steady fragrance; lift it out and replace it once the scent starts to fade.
Use a standard 4-hour unscented tealight rather than an 8-hour maxi, which runs too hot for most burners, scorches the wax and burns the fragrance off early. Never leave a lit burner unattended, and keep it away from children, pets and draughts.
