The Scotch Bonnet Freeport Strain is a Capsicum chinense variety originating from Freeport in the Bahamas. Closely related to the Bahamian Goat Pepper, this high-yielding chili produces an abundance of vibrant orange pods that ripen from green and boast a fruity, tropical aroma.

  • Quantity of Seeds: 10 seeds per packet
  • Origin: Caribbean, particularly Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and Barbados.
  • Genus: Capsicum chinense
  • Scoville Rating: 100,000 - 350,000 SHU.
  • Plant Size: Approximately 70cm tall.
  • Pod Size:  2.5-4cm long.

All plants are grown on our farm in Norfolk, UK and are grown in an open pollinated area.
