Habanero Lemon Chilli

The Lemon Habanero is a fiery chilli that packs a serious punch (100,000-350,000 SHU). Its bright yellow, lantern-shaped fruits offer a unique combination of citrusy sweetness and intense heat. Originating as a cultivar of the standard Habanero, it's a popular choice for making hot sauces, salsas, and marinades. Be warned: its extreme heat means it should be used sparingly

• Origin: Likely a cultivar of the standard Habanero, origins tracing back to the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
• Genus: Capsicum chinense
• Scoville Rating (SHU): Extremely Hot (100,000-350,000 SHU) – Similar to or slightly hotter than standard Habaneros.
• Plant Size: Can grow up to 1 meter (3 feet) or more
• Pod Size: Typically lantern-shaped or elongated, sometimes slightly wrinkled.  Ripens from green to a bright lemon yellow or orange-yellow.  2-6 cm (1-2.5 inches) long
• Flavour Profile: Fruity, citrusy (lemon-like), with intense heat
