Daucus Carota attracts a huge range of beneficial insects to the garden. A wonderful flower to grow for a relaxed meadow style or cottage garden vibe.  Strong stems supporting umbels of dense pale flowers. 

After flowering, the flower heads fold inwards to make gorgeous, unusual seed heads. It's a great addition to gardens and landscapes, providing a stunning visual display and enhancing the biodiversity of your ecosystem.

Sow Seeds

Sow March-May for first-year flowers or September for flowers the following year.  Sow thinly undercover or direct where they are to grow. Cover the seeds only very lightly and keep them gently watered until they germinate.  Germination can be slow....be patient!

Plant Out Thin or plant out 30cm apart.  Likes full sun and well-drained soil
