Cobaea is a fast-growing and vigorous climber with dark green leaves and beautiful purple, bell-shaped flowers  This vine is easy to care for and can be used to create a gorgeous focal point in the garden  

Grow Cobaea against a strong trellis, fence or wall for it to scramble up and over 

It needs full sun and moist but well-drained soil so water regularly in dry weather.

  • Seed Quantity: 15 Seeds
  • Type: Annual Climber
  • Genus: Cobaea scandens
  • Sow Seeds: Sow undercover Jan-March vertically into pots or trays and keep at 16–18 °C.  Germination can take 3–4 weeks so be patient!  Transplant into pots when they are large enough to handle and grow on.
  • Plant Out: Plant out after the last frosts, likes full sun and well-drained, moist soil 
  • Flowers: July-October
  • Height & Spread: 3m high x 2m wide
