Chrysanthemum Painted Daisies are the happiest, hippiest, chilled-out flowers in my garden!

An absolute riot of colours. Whites, pinks, reds, yellows, oranges, and more. Each one is tri-coloured and beautiful; they make me smile every time I walk past them.

I think they look best planted en masse. The more you can squeeze in, the better!

They make a good cut flower too, lasting well in a vase. Or just leave them chilling and flowering outside, and they will bring colour to the garden all summer long.

Sow Seeds

Sow from late winter to early summer (January–May) indoors or in a heated, uncovered space.  Sow into fine seed compost, keep moist, and keep at 18–24 °C while they germinate.  Germination can take between 5 and 20 days.  Transplant when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler but not cold conditions
Plant Out Acclimatise over several days before planting out when all risk of frost has passed.  Prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
