This delphinium is an absolute stunner!  Amazingly tall spikes of sky-blue flowers with bushy foliage make this a fabulous addition to a cottage border or cut flower garden   They can grow up to 1.8m tall so place them at the back of a border or grow through some horizontal netting if used for cut flowers to give them some support in bad weather. 

Delphiniums are happy in most soils but do not allow the ground to dry out in summer and water regularly when in flower.  This delphinium is a hardy perennial, perfect for adding a dramatic pop of colour to any landscape. They can be grown in full sun or part shade and require minimal maintenance to remain healthy.

  • Seed Quantity: 50 Seeds
  • Type: Perennial
  • Genus: Delphinium
  • Sow Seeds: Keep seeds in the fridge for one week before sowing.  Sow February-May on fine-free draining compost and cover very lightly with a little compost or vermiculite.  Keep at 15-20℃ and keep moist.  They will need light as soon as they have germinated.  Early sowings should flower in the same year.
  • Plant Out: Pot on as needed and acclimatise before planting out once all risk of frost has passed
