This tall-growing, mangetout type of pea has beautiful purple-pink flowers followed by sweet-tasting, tender peas….chock full of flavour and so different from the peas you buy.
For the sweetest flavour, pick when young and cook within 30 minutes of harvesting.

- Sow April/May into drills 5cm deep and 5cm apart. Allowing 60cm between the drills
- Or in March undercover in modular cells and planted out in April/May once hardened off
- Advisable to net as protection from birds and then as the seedlings grow to provide some net or support for them to climb up
