- Early sowing can be done under glass at 20-25 degrees at a depth of 1.5cm in trays or modules of free-draining seed sowing compost.
- Lightly cover with vermiculite or sieved compost.
- Later sowings can be sown directly outdoors into a well-prepared seedbed at a depth of 1.5cm and a distance of 30cm between rows
