Verbena Bonariensis – 250 Seeds
£2.05
Gorgeous, long flowering Verbena. A haze of purple throughout late summer until the first frosts. This is a stunning cottage garden flower, tall, light and airy; attracting butterflies and bees by producing a late source of nectar for them.
A great low maintenance plant, ideal for cottage garden or prairie style planting. It is elegant and statuesque, yet informal and free….perfect for the back of a border and as a cut flower in a relaxed arrangement.
I love it with so many flowers but it is particularly gorgeous when grown alongside Rudbeckia.
Verbena Bonariensis is a perennial but it can struggle over winter. Leave the dead stalks until spring and give it a good mulch as we head into winter to help protect it.
